A Blessing Box has begun appearing in small towns and cities across the United States over the past couple of years. They can be found at various locations throughout a community.
Their purpose is to serve as a twenty-four hour, year-round food source for people who do not have enough to eat.
The intent is to provide the food in an anonymous manner so that it can also be obtained anonymously. It is also an easy way for people to give food anonymously.
Our Blessing Box, which is there for anyone in need, is on the front porch of the Mission’s Kitchen.
We also provide supper at the Harvest Kitchen.
